Disney and Target blatantly ripped off images from a copyrighted book and put them on t-shirts to promote Ashley Tisdale's High School Musical spinoff, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. They merely flipped some images, or otherwise very lightly manipulated others. They even copied the handwritten, cursive captions under each image seen in the original artwork in their shirt design. Disney and Target now are bent on drawing out the resulting litigation long enough to put the copyright owners, Seattle design firm Modern Dog, out of business.
